I am mum to 3 boys and a mindfulness coach. I qualified as a maths teacher in 2002 and in 2005 I set up a business which I then closed in 2010. I’ve made huge mistakes along the way, had some really bad advice (and good – but at the beginning you don’t know which is which!). I’ve met some fantastic like-minded people and now have a good network of real-life and ‘virtual’ friends.
Why ‘Less is More’? When I started my business I wanted to rule the world! I now wish to make a positive impact on all the people I meet on a one-to-one basis. In 2014 I qualified as a coach which was in itself another transformational journey. I am passionate about bringing mindfulness into schools to help both teachers and pupils alike. I am developing simple programmes for teachers that they can use to help themselves and the children they teach.
I started meditating in 2006 and go on several retreats every year. I sing in a local choir and volunteer with our community minibus. My boys are musical too and we have a large array of instruments. We are very fortunate to live near the coast in beautiful West Sussex.
In January 2017 I launched a new career as a stand up comedian.
